Creative/ Play Therapy provides a safe space for children, teenagers and adults to explore and express their experiences and emotions and develop new ways of coping with their world.

This service is provided by a trained and experienced Certified and Accredited Play Therapist, Janine Nehrig. Janine has worked with children, adolescents and families in various settings since 2003, including in the HSE Midwest and on a voluntary basis in Limerick Social Services Council Ltd, Catherine McAuley School and Limerick's Children's Grief Project. Arch Creative and Play Therapy Centre was established in early 2014.
As a member of Play Therapy Ireland and the Psychological Society of Ireland, she adheres to strict codes of practice, including clinical supervision, continuing professional development and clinical governance, as well as to Irelandís child protection guidelines Children First. Janine is also a member of the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists, Accredited Register, accredited and regulated by the UK government Professional Standards Authority (equivalent to CORU which has not yet opened a register for therapeutic services), aiming to improve standards and safety in therapy provision.

Parent-Child Attachment Play
Play Therapy (a form of Child Counselling/ Child Therapy/ Child Psychotherapy) and Creative Therapy (a form of Adult Counselling/ Adult Therapy/ Psychotherapy) and Clinical Supervision/ Creative Supervision is provided by a trained and experienced Accredited Play Therapist, Janine Nehrig. Janine is a member of Play Therapy Ireland PTIrl, the Psychological Society of Ireland PSI and the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists, Accredited Register, accredited and regulated by the UK government Professional Standards Authority PSA. Clinical Supervision is further accepted by the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists IACAT.
